In November 2016 Michael Marmot presented to a parliamentary audience detailing, in part, evidence on the Health Gap reported in his book The Health Gap: The challenge of an unequal world. 

Prior to this presentatation in parliament, and to accompany the event and his book publication, Michael also  authoured a viewpoint piece in the Lancet and recorded a supplementary video interview.
