The Rising Cost of Living: A Review of Interventions to Reduce Impacts on Health Inequalities in London
The cost of living crisis is the subject of the second in a series of reviews of evidence for interventions that can be made by local authorities, the Greater London Authority and system partners in London to reduce health inequalities. The report presents evidence for interventions that can support Londoners when high inflation threatens to widen health inequalities.

Luton becomes the first ‘Marmot Town’. This report identifies health inequalities in the town and recommends actions to reduce them and make Luton a fairer place to live, work, grow up and grow old in.

Fuel Poverty, Cold Homes and Inequalities in the UK
This report comes at a crucial time as poverty and inflation are increasing rapidly; 55% of UK households are forecast to fall into fuel poverty by January 2023 without additional interventions, risking far greater damage to health and higher rates of death associated with living in a cold home. Households with children as well as those on low incomes, living with disabilities and Minority ethnic groups are most at risk.
